" I C O N I C "

AMERICA'S FIRST LADY OF MUSIC "JANET JACKSON "THE "I C O N "

When MTV decided to find an artist to represent music as a whole, to name one superstar that has

had an impact on music like none other they decided on JANET JACKSON ! the only artist on earth to have won every music award on earth, MTV made a big statement by making Janet the first icon because so many artist and superstars has graced the mtv screen like Michael Jackson, Moddonna, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey to name a few, But still no other artist could fill her shoes. The most Notible female recording artist in the buisness, she sold over 100 million albums wolrdwide, sold out concert tours, multiple number #1 albums and numerious #1 singles. Janet made her music mark on her own in 1986 her Control album went on to release 5 top five hits and her first #1 single, and sell 6 million copies world wide , she went on to follow up with Rythym Nation 1814 and out did her self with being the only artist to have 7 top five hits off a sigle album and four #1 singles and selling 8 million copies and the highest debut world tour to date. In 1993 she released " janet" it went on to sell 10 million copies worldwide, which is why she Janet has completed two multi-million dollar recording deal a 40 million then later an 80 million dollar making her the highest paid bytch in da game. Even after the 2004 superbowl wardrobe-malfunction janet still is a force to reconed with at 42 years old, Janet is still the standard for female and sometimes male dance videos some has come close but none has made inpact like miss jackson if you nasty. I'm sure Janet dont mind people immulating and even copiying her it's the ego's that she doesn't like, She has perfected the craft of recording music and untouchable music videos, Janet is an icon which means she's on a level of her own and can't be touched, Janet has always said it's room for everyone so i suggest people find thier place in thier art and craft and try to make icon statis. It takes dedication to the art and craft and to yourself despite what people say Janet hands down is still the best
